Tin City Cider Taproom | Paso Robles

Melanie Wong | Dec 23, 201902:36 PM

Taking advantage of having a designated driver, this was my chance to indulge in a five-cider tasting flight.

Making friends with Chad sitting next to me at the bar, he shared Playin with the Boyse, the toasty boysenberry one from his glass. Too smoky for me, that made six samples. The Polly Dolly is perhaps the third or so example of a cider and rosé wine blend, and I'm not a fan. All three of us agreed that Watermelon Crawl “watermelon-cucumber-spritz” turned out to be the most complex, balanced and refreshing of the cider offerings.

This might read more negative than my real impression of the line-up. Tin City Cider provided a fun and interesting break in the middle of our day of touring.
