Hello all... My husband will be taking me on a 30th birthday trip to NOLA for the weekend. We are going to be there from 7/10 - 7/12 and are staying in the FQ. I am ridiculously excited about our visit and have been researching restaurants and things to do for a while. We love good music, good food, good beer and good wine. We have an eating agenda put together, but I welcome your opinions and thoughts on the matter. Also, if there is a dish that you've had at any of the places I've listed that is a MUST TRY, please share. Also, I would love to hear more about the bars / lounges / nightlife - Places that we just can't miss.
Late breakfast - Cafe du Monde for some coffee and beignets.
Lunch - Cochon
I signed us up for the walking cocktail tour - Is this a mistake? It got great reviews on tripadvisor.
Dinner - Luke
Drinks or Live Music??? Any suggestions or recommendations? We read about French 75, which we want to check out. Thoughts?
Breakfast - The Old Coffee Pot
Lunch - Parkway Bakery & Tavern
Dinner - MILA
No idea what we are doing after dinner - would like some recommendations as well.
Brunch - EAT
Look forward to your responses!!
