For cheap, fresh lobster (I cannot believe I am telling you this) in Huntington Beach. The place? Longboards on Main Street. I do not think they take reservations. My hubby's family is Boston (grandfather was a bootlegger against JFK's dad), and he loves their lobster. Simple and boiled. It used to be 2 lobsters 1 - 1 1/2 lbs each, boiled potatoes, corn on the cob and I believe corn muffins (or something like that) for around $25-30 per person. My hubby would eat his 2 lobsters, the 1 1/2 I had left over from mine and anyone else that wanted to keep their fingers. It usually runs from I believe end of September to sometime in October. Near the beach, heat lamps sports, etc. Really down home, but get there early, because when they sell out, that's it for the night. And, really good jerk chicken wings. I'm not telling you when we are going, because I want to make sure we don't miss it!
