So I saw some Ocean Spray fresh cranberries in a bag in the salad section of Whole Foods today.
Is this what I should be buying to make fresh cranberry sauce with for Thanksgiving? Or should I hold out in the hopes that my local farmers market will have better options come November?
Pardon my ignorance. I live in San Francisco, and California is hardly berry country. I've never purchased fresh cranberries before and I can't say that I've paid enough attention to notice them anywhere. I think I stared at them confusedly for awhile, because for some bizarre reason I just assume people in California bought cranberries frozen all the time.
