So the Tim Tam Slam will get it's own thread. For those of you who don't know, Tim Tams are tasty little cookies from Australia - chocolate cream between two malt cookies, coated in chocolate. They also come in the following flavors, although most are not available in Canada or the US):

Now, the crucial step...
IMPORTANT!!! The Slam:
Prepare hot beverage of choice (black coffee for me, but I hear tea is quite nice too),.. bite a bite off one corner, then a bite off the opposing corner... dip one end into hot beverage and use the cookie as a straw, sucking until the liquid reaches your mouth. Now, you have to be quick... pop the entire melting delight into your mouth, close your eyes and enjoy. One of the greatest pleasures.

I have tried the Originals, Dark Chocolate and Caramel, which can be found locally in Montreal. A friend of a friend, who lives in Australia, brought a pack of Sweet Surrender Creme Caramel and I had those too. My favorites are still the Originals. I find the caramel gets in the way of the melted consistency.
Pepperidge Farms recently brought Tim Tams to the US in October. A Bostonian friend thinks there may be some variation between those and the ones he tried here in Canada which were imported directly from the original makers - Arnotts.
What is your opinion? What flavors have you tried? I am dying to try the Mint Crisp & Chocolate Hazlenut.
