Ok so you've seen this monstrosity of a building, that looks like it should be perched on Chimes Road next to LSU's campus with the purple and gold tiger stripes. Had the opportunity to try this place for breakfast this weekend and was pleasantly suprised. I had the "home run" which was typical breakfast fare; eggs, grits, toast, bacon. My hubby had the Huevos Rancheros (sp?) and both were great. Service was suprisingly good and quick, even though they just opened. Their other menu items looked very good, with items such as po-boys, hamburgers, salads, etc... Overall great place for b'fast if you live in Old Metry. Better than Dot's and the LSU motif is just as rampant on the inside of the place.
