Hi! There used to be a sister restaurant to the Tidewater Grill Charleston located in Michigan. It was a place that my family went to often when I was growing up. I distinctly remember the rolls/bread that came in a basket with the seafood. It had a very distinct flavor, and always had poppy seeds and pepper on the undersides, but there was more to it than that! I was wondering if anyone in the Charleston area who has dined at Tidewater would be able to tell me what it is that their rolls taste like- maybe a distinct spice rub? I want to know because if I can figure this out I'll be able to put the same blend of *whatever* on the bread and rolls I bake at home. Thanks!!
