I love to eat bacon but I really hate the clean up from cooking it. What do other home cooks to do? I always cook my bacon in cast iron. Sometimes I try to get rid of the grease right away in an empty milk carton, which is what my mamma does, but I dont always have an empty carton handy. Other times I let the grease solidify then wipe the pan out with paper towels, making a gross pile of greasy towels. Is there a secret Im missing? I know I could save the grease to cook other things, and sometimes I do, but most of the time I just want to get rid of it. I dont have a microwave, so nuking the bacon is not an option.
