I'm going to NOLA for the first time next week - really looking forward to it. I already have reservations for Clancy's, Cochon, Commander's Palace, Bergtsen's, and Atchafalaya, and I'm trying to figure out Friday lunch. Has anyone ever reserved a table for upstairs at Glalatoire's as a back-up and then stood in line for a table downstairs, or is that a major faux pas?
Also if I have one more meal - August or Emeril's? (Or perhaps some other "only in NOLA" must? I will have various oyster specialties, po boys, etc. as snacks throughout, so I'm just thinking main meal here.)
