I'm sitting here in KY watching a PBS show about sandwiches across the county. I came in late on a segment dealing with Thelmas in New Orleans. Thelmas appeared to focus on bar-b-qued meat, using hickory and pecan. It looked like a great neighborhood place.
I always have a po boy (well, several actually) when we are back in Louisiana. But, this place looked pretty good.
Any thoughts/comments on Thelmas? I looked at the New Orleans newspaper site, but could not find a review.
