Thai in upper Westchester?

Josh Mittleman | May 17, 2005 09:30 AM

I don't know Thai food well, so I'm looking for more experienced opinions. I know two Thai places in upper Westchester: Swadee in Hawthorne and Thai Garden in Tarrytown.

I've enjoyed Swadde very much when I ordered from the menu. The lunch buffer, though, was mediocre.

We had dinner at Thai Garden a couple nights ago. We had a spicy duck dish that was wonderful, some good appetizers (esp. the curry puffs), and pad thai. The noodles in the pad thai were very sticky and the sauce wasn't terribly interesting, which is not how I remember pad thai in past incarnations.

Anyone familiar with these places? Any other suggestions?
