Thai town - If you were going for the first time where would you eat?

Sasha | Aug 26, 2005 04:31 PM

We are going with another couple on Sunday for dinner, and none of us has tried any place in Thai-town, but I would really like to start sampling over there. Where would you start?

I'm looking for great quality food throughout the menu (rather than a place that does only 1 or 2 things really well), to satisfy possible cravings for noodles, curries, BBQ meats, or soups/salads. One of the group is not too adventurous, so I'd like to avoid things on the menu that are scary (i.e., boat noodle type soups). Also, the place should be conducive to conversation, neither too expensive (I'm thinking this isn't a danger, right?) nor too cheap, and open for dinner on Sunday. I promise to post about our trip! Thank you for your advice!
