A Thai friend of mine said that Siam Sunset on Hollywood/ Hobart has the best Stewed Pork Leg on Rice (Khao Kai Moo.
We went there a few weeks ago, and since then, I've been going back for the soft, tasty pork leg lying on top of a layer of pickled vegetables and rice. The sauce is simply delicious. Just like how it's served in Thailand.
The restaurant specialized in Thai-Chinese food and I heard their breakfast items: freshly made soya milk and small fried donut are real good and authentic. The place opens at 6am and the breakfast items are usually gone by noon.
The location is a bit obscure, just remember it's right opposite to 99 cent store, and it share the parking lot with a chessy motel: but don't worry, I often see Benz and BMW belongs parked in the lot while their owners' chowing down in this joint.
