Haven't seen anything mentioned about Thai Spice in West Roxbury. I got take-out from there last night, and it's quite good. From this small sampling, the food seems to be more authentic than most suburban Thai, but perhaps not as much as what I've had at some of the Brookline Thai Restaurants.
Som Tum had a decent amount of heat (by default - didn't ask for it), and cherry tomatoes instead of the styrofoam supermarket kind. But it seemed like the papaya and the dressing had been mixed well ahead of time - it was a bit droopy, but still crunchy. Vegetable Pad Thai was nicely sweet, and not a goopy mess of noodles. Lots of vegetables, and nice fry job on the tofu, too (but there could have been more of it). Chilli (sic) Fish was a huge amount of fish (probably what amounted to a whole fish, in pieces), batter-fried, with a light sauce on the hot side (again, by default), and just a little sweet. Perhaps a bit too much batter on the fish, since it was coming off because of the wet sauce.
