On a recent visit to Chiang Mai I enjoyed a dish that made of pumpkin and egg, softly stir-fried. My host described how he made it, but our languages skills were limited (mostly by my ignorance of Thai--his English was much better). The pumpkin was stir fried with some garlic, nam pla or soy sauce, and the eggs were added toward the finish. It is a dish that might be given to a convalescent, comfort food and easily digestible. Does it ring a bell with anyone? If I could discover the Thai name for the dish, I might be able to more easily find a recipe.
