This is across from 609 on Eastgate, just north of Delmar and east of Skinker. Cheery and encouraging decor. Interesting menu. The crispy egg rolls were great. I am going to try one of the pizzas again- just one w/t mushrooms since , inexplicably they use canned sliced mushrooms! and lots of them do not make it better . The #22 had a coconut milk sauce with lime that was grand with the shrimp- the mushroom removal was entertaining. My dinner companion had a curious noodle dish(# 32) that has an encouraging name(Gra ree curry pasta). She was not able to get past the dish not being lightly spiced as asked for.
Generally, I cannot get past a sense that there is promiss in the place. It must have openned recently. I wonder how it is related to the extraordinary # of Thia places in that two block area. I am interested in how the other hounds find it. The prices were reasonable enough that it is worth seeing if it can keep up with the neighbors!
