Does anyone know which Thai rest in NYC serves authentic PANANG CURRY? I used to go to Siam Inn II (51st and 8th) and Red Garlic (54th and 8th) but they both have closed. I have tried most Thai restaurants along theatre district, including the lauded Pam Real Thai Food, but their version of Panang Curry is very watery (very much like Red Curry), compared to the thick, gravy-like sauce of Panang Curry.
I have also tried Little Thai Kitchen (53rd/2nd), that is supposedly very authentic, but their PC is also basically red curry.
I want my Panang curry the way they do it in Thailand. Any help would be appreciated!
