Has there been a change of ownership/chef? The Heavy Table Green Line write-up mentions the cooking being done by someone whose granddaughter served the food. The City Pages write-up mentions a discussion with the chef that featured a language barrier. On our visit today, however, the chef who came out to chat briefly neither looked old enough to be the grandfather of any of the servers and nor was there any language barrier: he spoke fluent, idiomatic English. So I'm curious to know if there's been a change.
The food itself was fine on average. Some things were very good, some things were average or below--I'll have a full review early next week.
