Thai Chowlunch Series, Part 2

The next lunch in the Thai series will take place on President's Day (Monday, February 21), at noon at Rabieng in the Baileys Crossroads area. Please email me if you want to attend so I can make an appropriate reservation.

Rabieng specializes in regional Thai cuisine, so we may find some items here that we will not find elsewhere.

With any luck, the holiday will allow a few people to attend who could not otherwise. Expect good food and pleasant company.

If you have never attended a chowlunch before, don't be shy! These are fun and we nearly always have at least one newcomer. We will order a great many dishes and pass them around family-style so everyone can maximize their sampling. We will order about 10-15 minutes after the start of the lunch. Late arrivals can just phone in (I'll provide my cell phone # when you email to sign up) to warn us about traffic snarl-ups and food allergies.

Unless we have a very tiny group, we will be upstairs at Rabieng, since the downstairs area can't accomodate larger groups.

There is a Thai grocery store next to Rabieng, so bring your shopping list! There is also a good middle-eastern grocer in the same strip mall.
