After leaving cooking i've made cupcakes again after like 2 years!
the cupcake turned ok but the frosting is a nightmare(not sure if i ever made good frosting before anyway!)
Heres what i did
first i let 100g butter get to room temperature then sliced them and used 70g of them
then I mixed 1 tbsp of cornflour with one cup of sugar in coffee grinder(with blades)(120g). i added 2 tbsp of milk to it
I also added vanilla extract
I can feel the sugar when i eat it! i guess i can buy some powdered sugar. because my grinder is not so powerful and maybe thats the problem!.
But anyway the frosting is so greasy (it almost feels like eating butter) and I feel like adding more icing sugar(in the internet it says 1tbsp of cornflour for each cup of sugar) will make it so sweet.
Its also so yellow! on the internet the pictures are white. but i guess that's ok!
and after putting it in in the fridge its not so hard! you can't eat it :|
but the main problem is with being bubbly and being so hard after putting it in the fridge! and when its too bubbly you can give it shape! and because its too greasy and fat i only can put it a small layer of them on top!
EDIT: i forgot to mention, i sifted the sugar!
