I am sorry if this topic has previously been addressed on the boards, but I couldn't find anything in my searches.
My husband and I are going to Rome at the end of the month, and are looking for one truly fine-dining, terrace experience. We have heard about the Raphael Hotel which is supposed to have "spectacular" views, but I haven't heard *anything* about the food, which I believe is just as important as the view.
Any opinions on inexpensive dining in Florence and anywhere in Umbria (we'll blow our bucks on the terrace in Rome) would be most appreciated as well.
Thanks for your help in advance!
