Tequila for Frozen Margaritas?

So I know next to nothing about tequila. I remember when Cuervo Gold was all the rage when Steely Dan mentioned it in one of their hit songs back in the early eighties, then "100% Agave" tequila came along and you oculdn't give the Cuervo away. I make frozen margaritas and daiquiris in the summer. I generally make frozen drinks uusing leftover fresh fruit that I've frozen; straberries, pineapple, melon, peaches etc. so the liquor is not standing alone. Good inexpensive rum is easy to find but what about tequila? Do I need 100% agave? There are plenty of inexpensive tequilas at Total Wine, which is where I shop, including this Classic Club which costs $18.00 for a big bottle. Will this cheap tequila adversely affect the taste of the frozen drink I'm making to the point it will be noticable to the non- connoisseur?

And is silver (Blanco) preferred for frozen drinks? How about respato? Can you reccomend a good inexpensive tequila for my purposes? Thanks!
