I had a great lunch yesterday at Temple Korean Cuisine, which I think is a relatively new Korean restaurant on St. Marks Place. It's a tiny, narrow place, with a handful of tables on one side and a counter with stools on the other, very stylishly done. My husband and I both had lunch specials; I had Dolsot Bibimbop ($7.99), sizzling beef, rice (nice and crunchy in places where it stuck to the pot), egg, vegetables; very fresh and delicious. My husband had Tofu-Kimchi Bokum ($6.99), sauteed tofu, kimchi, pork and vegetables, which he enjoyed a lot. We shared yummy grilled tofu salad as an appetizer. Everything else we saw looked delicious; can't wait to go back.
