Stopped in last night. It was one hour before closing, so some items weren't available. I chose the Coffee Toffee Chocolate Cookie, Feisty Ginger Cookie (a daily special), and the Devil's Food Cupcakie (a cupcake done muffin-top style) with Dulce du Leche Frosting.
The frosting on the cupcakie was great - light, fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth, and not overwhelmingly sweet. Was less wowed by the cake itself. The flavor was muted, making it primarily a vehicle for the frosting (perhaps the intended effect?). However, I really dig the cupcakie concept. It really caters to way I eat my regular cupcakes (split horizontally into two layers, with frosting on each).
Both cookies were great. The toffee cookie had small bits of toffee spread throughout the interior, with larger chunks on top. The ginger cookie had a great texture, lightly crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. All the more impressive considering it wasn't fresh out of the oven.
I intend to go back to sample some other flavors (the Lemon Ginger cupcake and Out of the Blue cookie sound particularly tasty). I really appreciate their efforts to provide an artisan product amidst the sea of chain shops.
