This past Saturday I went to Tea House with my husband, two daughters, one son-in-law and a 4 year old granddaughter. We were told the wait would be 20 minutes. 45 minutes later daughter #1 asked about the wait and told them to stop seating twos and threes and push two tables together so we could eat. We were finally seated and waited for the waitress. She took our order. Beverages were brought and the wait began again.
Finally my husband's entree arrived - along with the wonton soup he ordered. No chicken wings appeared; they were to be shared by all as an appetizer. The other entrees arrived. Still no wings. "Coming, coming" was all the server would say or "sorry, sorry". Daughter #1 and I were going to share two entrees. The second one never arrived, nor did the wings. Beverages were never checked. Actually, the waitress disappeared. She was later seen serving a large table in the other dining room. We asked for the check, which she finally brought. We didn't leave a tip. The cashier wasn't interested in my husband's complaint either.
The food that was served was hot and good. However, I'm not sure we'll go back, and certainly not on a Saturday night. We were there over two hours, mostly waiting for seating or food. This was not the experience we had on other visits. I don't think we have ever had such terrible service.
