Desperately miss downtown Wilmington's former Tango du Chat. Haven't been to the replacement Tayste, but keep hearing that it has an urban edge, feels like the big city. But honestly, the menu looks like many others in this area: sesame tuna, crab cakes, roasted chicken, shrimp and grits, etc. And I can't get too excited about watermelon salad in the dead of winter. Where's that melon coming from, I wonder.
Any one done any serious eating at Tayste? Care to compare to Tango?
