Taste of Thai - Lynnwood, WA

boyelectric | Jun 4, 200402:02 PM     1

With a decor that can only be described as eclectic, this little hole in the wall Thai restaurant appears to have been an Azteca, or something like it, in a former life. The proprietors are very nice, speak reasonable English, and do their best to make it look not quite so Mexican in the place.

All of this above notwithstanding, the food is delicious. My favorites are the Panang eggplant curry, the Red curry, Phad Key Mow, and honey garlic eggplant. So far I have had nothing I did not like. With some Thai places, it seems like they just cover for lack of flavor by making the dish hotter, but not so in this place; their flavors are very intense, regardless of the star rating (1-5).

I almost hate telling people about the place, because I like its hole in the wall status (quiet, private, no lines), but I worry that their bad location will put them out of business. They are located near Wilcox Park in Lynnwood, 5405 196th St SW.

Go visit them please, so I can keep eating good food there!
