New taqueria in Olympia/Lacey

Steve in Olympia | Mar 17, 2004 03:46 PM

A new taqueria opened two weeks ago in Olympia (actually in Lacey). It is in a strip mall on Lacey Blvd., just south of College Street, and it is called "Paco's Tacos." A wide choice of traditional tacos are available, including the ususal favorites (carne asada, lengua, pastor, chile rojo, carnitas, etc, etc.) The tacos are cheap ($1.25) and very, very good! Numerous other items are on the menu, including wet and dry burritos, tamales, sopas, etc. It is also a mexican bakery, with numerous pastries and cookies. They are open for lunch and dinner (but no alcohol). A very friendly staff. I ate there twice this week, and will be returning soon. (I have also heard good things about the new taco wagon on Sleater Kinney, near Fred Meyer, across from Sound Sound mall.)

Tacos forever!
