Has this hole in the wall with a counter at Fifth Ave. and 23rd in Brooklyn been discussed here? We (me, husband, two teenagers) stumbled over it on Sunday when we had to find a fast lunch while waiting for a Revolutionary War memorial march thing to start at Greenwood Cemetery. It does the tiny tacos (taquitos) for $1 each with about eight different fillings. I had carnitas, longizado (? spicy sausage), pollo, the others had various including lengua (tongue) and my adventurous son had brains. The sausage and carnitas and lengua were all delicious, the whole thing made a perfectly sized lunch. My daughter had a vegetarian fajita which seemed fine if not mind-blowing. excellent pinto beans. Mexican Pepsi and sodas. Wish we lived close enough to get takeout.
