We've just returned from Spain.
San Sebastian, Pamplona (yes, I ran with the bulls), La Rioja, Madrid.
The tapas we had there, especially in the north, were of exceptional quality and variety and ranged in price from 1.50-2.75 Euro.
Someone please explain to me why I'm paying $8-$12 for inferior products, the same in every restaurant, here in New York.
I realize how pretensious this post seems but, quite honestly, I'm ticked off.
