What an interesting and exciting place. Seating is different, sitting on a couch and big chairs. Excellent service and of course the guys loved the belly dancers. Food was fantastic. I started with one of my favorites - tuna tartare. This was fantastic, layered sushi grade tuna, with a mango chunk salsa (2nd layer) and then a great guacomole (3rd layer). Nice flavors of soy, ginger and maybe a touch of saurachi/cream (sp?). I love a great tuna tartare and this is definatly tops. Hubby got the shrimp app, very nice red moraccan sauce. My meal was salmon with roasted root vegies and fingerling potatoes - hubby got a great authentic tagine of chicken couscous. Very neat experience, the hookah lounge next door was packed so we didn't go over for a puff (that was our plan but it was a good two hr wait) - the smells from the sweet flavored hookahs going were very welcoming. Our friends said they did orange last time, I was excited to try banana or maybe raspberry. Maybe next time or before dinner on a Sat. night would have been a better plan.
