Went on a hot dog eating expedition over the weekend. Tried Walter's in Mamaroneck. Liked the way they split them in half and grilled them and put a nice, tangy mustard-relish on them, but the color(pale grey) of the dog itself was unappetizing to me.
Then went on to Swanky Franks in Norwalk, CT and enjoyed much more their deep-fried frank and Hot Mustard type topping. YET... the dog seemed too thick, more like a knockwurst than a frank,so...
I still think Papaya King in NYC is the best with Nathan's in Coney Island a close 2nd. What do you all think?
