Takeout/ Street food situated near places to sit and eat

I'm getting really tired of making pilgrimmages to little food stands and hole-in-the-wall takeout joints only to find that I have to walk several blocks just to sit and enjoy my meal (which many times doesn't happen since the food gets cold by that point).

Can anyone recommend any good takeout/food stand type places that are near parks, plazas, benches...anywhere for a chowhound to sit and chow down? oh, and some nice scenery is always a plus!

My favorite place is Otafuku (that takoyaki/okonomiyaki/yakisoba stand) on E 9th st. and 2nd ave. I always grab something there and then walk up to St. Mark's church plaza on E 10th and 2nd ave and have myself a feast.
