My wife and I were in Toronto for work last week and stayed at a B&B in Koreatown there and stumbled across this wonderful thing called Taiyaki made fresh at a Korean supermarket. We drove straight to NYC after for the long weekend and found some Taiyaki there as well in their Koreatown and it was equally amazing. I understand Taiyaki to be Japanese but it seems to be a big Korean thing too. Does anyone know where to find this made fresh in MTL? I've called a few places and no-one seems to have it fresh, although a few Asian supermarkets have it frozen, which doesn't excite me much.
