Picked up some beef with poblano peppers (btw, I see this pepper spelled pablano and poblano, which is correct?) and some xaio long bau last night.

When I got home, about 1/2 the soup dumplings had ruptured. Still good, but somewhat of a disappointment.

The beef and poblano dish didn't seem as spicy as usual, actually it was barely spicy at all this time. In fact, different times I have noted different spiciness levels. I guess it has something to do with the shipment of peppers that week since peppers can vary on the scoville scale. Anyone else notice this? When I ordered it, the guy asked me "hot and spicy?" and I said yes please.
