We are headed to Taipei in November. The last time we were there (14 years ago), we had incredible tang bao (soup dumplings) in a small (but old and famous) Shanghai restaurant (not Ding Tai Fong). They were smaller than usual and really really yummy. As I vaguely remember, it was up a flight of stairs. We would love to find the restaurant again. Anybody have any idea what it could have been?
Also, are there any other recommendations in general?
