I recently noticed a few taco truck threads on the board and just wanted to throw in my 2 cents regarding taco trucks in MY neighborhood: Roseland, Santa Rosa.
First up is Los Magos on the corner of Sebastopol Road and Dutton Avenue. Tortas are usually the first thing I try from a taco truck and they are AWESOME here. One flat piece of carne asada on delicious bread with all the fixin's. They also have a restaurant in the mini-mall thats kitty corner to the truck.
Second is La Texanita. They are on Sebastopol Road in front of Joyeria Angelica and next to Sams 4Play Cafe. They are only open at night and usually stay open till around 3a.m. (to accomodate all the late night club goers). Their tortas are great too! Although different. The carne asada is chopped, instead of one flat piece, and they also put ham and cheese on them as a standard item. I have also tried their flautas and tacos with no complaints. They have a restaurant as well, although I do not know the exact location.
I can't stand when some people scoff at the idea of eating at a taco truck. They are NOT roach coaches (atleast the ones I go to) and offer friendly service plus excellent food.
Don't Miss Out!
