The chilaquiles are among the best I’ve tasted. They use thick tortilla squares that stay crunchy. It’s covered in a delicious sauce and plenty of crumbled cotija cheese.
It’s served with Spanish rice and refried beans. And throughout the dish are chunks of white chicken breast meat.
This is a fast food place, but it’s much nicer than a Baja Fresh or the like. There’s a nice salsa and condiment bar, which is way better than BF and the décor is not as institutional as BF. The chairs have pads, and the tables are decent. The help is friendly.
I really enjoyed the dish. It’s mostly a lunch place, but the breakfast is really good. They also have a variety of specials for breakfast, and you can “make your own omelet” by choosing the various filling.
My only complaint is that they put cinnamon in the coffee. Next time I’ll go next door and get a Starbucks coffee.
