The Swiss Park is open to the public and serves lunch Monday through Friday from 11-2:30 and dinner from 5-9. A shaded green on the corner of the property has rows and rows of picnic tables for outdoor events, but is only in use for those occasions. Inside you'll find a bar running the length of the building, a few red checker cloth-topped tables, and a big meeting hall in a Swiss motif with open beams and woods.
On many weekends, various German, Swiss and other community groups host events there and the kitchen offers a more extensive menu. I saw one dinner menu for the 2nd and 4th Sunday dance halls that had rouladen, sauerbraten, bratwurst, Kessler smoked pork chop, and more. The regular dinner menu is three items: rib eye steak ($11), wiener schnitzel, $10 and jaeger schnitzel, $10. Today, Oct. 1, is a special Oktoberfest celebration.
