Sweet Maple Cafe and the proliferation of vague subject titles

Twice in the space of a day, in response to entirely unrelated inquries ("Noon O - The Curse of Check Pleez?" and "Biscuits 'n' gravy update"), an answer to both was "the Sweet Maple Cafe on Taylor."

My feeling about the Cafe is that as fine as it may be, its popularity has long outrun its space (30-40 minute waits at breakfast are not uncommon, even during non-prime time periods, and even allowing for the exceptionally patient service by the staff is more than I want to bear), and the food (while good) is simply not that wonderful. The biscuits, to answer Lill's point, are flat and a bit greasy.

My feeling about this board is that it is getting increasingly difficult to extract useful info as the threads get longer and chattier, and the subject lines blurrier. This is a user issue, in my judgment, not a software issue. This board was a lot easier to negotiate a year ago, even without the improved software, because users chose their subject lines carefully and moved new conversations onto different messages.
