Does anyone have a recipe for a BBQ sauce that is NOT sweet? One that does not contain sugar, or molasses or honey? BBQ in North America is most often copied from the Americans and I find, (at least in the popular culture represented on TV and in grocery stores and many web-based recipe sites), they put sugar in and on everything and I just find that all the other lovely flavours die in this onslaught of sugar. (Even the cooking from other countries often ends up adapting to North American tastes by smothering everything in horrible sugary sauces.) I'd appreciate any recipes/ideas others may have tried for non-sweet bbq meals. I know I can't be alone in this and there are surely other people out there in NA who want a break from the sugar onslaught, so I'm hoping for some great ideas. Thanks
