Sushi at Camon in Columbia, SC

I've heard that if you ask for some special things as made by Kobayashi San (the owner/head sushi chef) that the experience is actually pretty different as opposed to the usual mediocre fare that they serve. Has any one tried this out? I'd really like to go and do this myself, but I don't know what's special besides chu-toro hand rolls and things like that. Can anybody recommend any special dishes that they've had that could challenge this guy who is supposed to be a pretty good chef when put up to the test?
