Survey: Toaster Oven or Microwave Oven? What is more important to you?

Chemicalkinetics | Dec 7, 201312:04 AM     157

This topic has been touched upon before, but I think it deserves a deeper discussion.

Both a toaster oven and a microwave oven can be very useful.

Why is a toaster oven more useful? Well, it can create more traditional dishes and better tasting food than a microwave oven can. A microwave oven is just for food warming, not for cooking.

Why is a microwave oven more useful? A toaster oven is just a smaller version of a full size oven. Everything can be done in a toaster oven can be made better in a full size oven. A toaster oven brings nothing new. A microwave oven is unique and its functions cannot be recreated by any other appliances.

Based on your own experience, which is more valuable to your kitchen? In other words, if you are forced to lose one, which one you rather to keep? Please share your reasons.

1) Keep the Toaster Oven
2) Don't know -- they are about the same importance
3) Keep the Microwave Oven

Many thanks.
