Surreal Cafe, Ouch my wallet, hey I'm not full.

I'm sure this is going to piss people off, but...
I recenty went to Surreal Cafe It has a pleasant atmosphere. However,
my pal and I ordered 2 Goat Cheese and beet salads, she had chicken on hers. We SPLIT a bowl of soup and I had an iced tea. The Ice tea came in a 8 or 10 ounce water glass and cost 2.00. Why not a 16 oz glass like everwhere else? By the time the food came the iced tea was long gone and i was not guzzling.
The salads were so small that i couldnt even come close to being filled up.There must have been about one ounce of greens and one ounce of goat cheese and about 6 small pieces of beet, and they served no bread with it. And with the soup only 2 VERY small slices of slightly stale small baguette . Now I know that we live in Atkins world, but salad should be served with bread(at least offered). The soup that was served with the bread was potato leek, if there was ever a soup that didn't need bread its that one.
Ok the food tasted fine it was very nice standard fare, friendly service.
Now here is the kicker. It was 32 dollars after tax and tip for this miniscule lunch. hey 16 dollars for a tiny salad, 1/2 a soup and an iced tea?
Hey, 5th avenue Brooklyn is Not London or Tokyo.
Give us a break. Im sorry, but for those prices I expect to at least not be hungry when I leave the Restaurant.
