Sunnin -- Great Lebanese Find in Westwood

Kara Elise | May 4, 200103:02 AM     1

Finally stopped in this tiny cafe I had been eyeing and had an outstanding lunch that was healthy, fresh, fast, and extremely tasty! The fattoush salad was delightful (and huge for 3.95) and the special of the day, the okra with lamb was perfect and was only 6.95. Okra sauteed with tomatoes and onions, and cubes of lean roasted lamb added at the end -- thereby cutting way down on the fat. Served with rice. The sandwiches also looked great. They were doing a decent carry-out business. I liked how they said they will only make a sandwich once the orderer, or agent of, arrives on the premises to keep it fresh.

It's on Westwood, half a block north of Santa Monica, on the west side of the street.
