Sunday Brunch/Baltimore

I would like some suggestions from the Baltimore area Chowhounds. My wife and I went to The Hunt Valley Inn for Sunday brunch. It was our first time we had gone there. Previously we had heard good things about The Inns Sunday Brunch. It was a great disappointment. I could find no starters. No oyster, clams , shrimp or crab (maybe The Hunt Valley Inn prefers to forget they are in Maryland). The traditional breakfast items were just that, traditional. Nothing special or extra good. The omelet area was small and crowded for such a large dinning room. The lunch table was typical hot steamed food. No fresh beef or fresh carved anything. The salad choices were small as were the deserts. If I missed the starters or carving table it was because the serving area was small for the numbers served. All in all, a disappointment.

We had been to Courtney’s and they were even more disappointing with most of the items running out early and the staff slow to refill the buffet.

Somewhere in the city and its environs there must be a restaurant that prides itself on Sunday Brunch. I would appreciate hearing from the Chowhounds with their suggestions.
