I went to the Summer Shack last night. I ordered the whole belly clams and the Roasted lobster. Man, what a disappointment that meal turn out to be... The clams were pretty good, but for $1/piece I was torn between eating them quickly for fear of them turning rubbery or eating them slowly to savor the flavor. I'll just say that they were not rubbery.
The lobster sucked. It was suppose to be 1 1/2lb and roasted, sadly it turned out to be neither. On Monday and Tuesday nights, there's a special of 2 lobsters for $19.95. The lobster I got was boiled (probably left over from the special of the night), the sauce was ALL butter with some parsley and no hint of white wine. I finally tasted some semblence of wine in the leg cavity. What a crock!
