It was relatively easy to acquire dried shrimp roe when I lived in California, but it has been impossible to find them in Philadelphia Chinatown. So one of the first things I looked for at Vancouver Chinatown was dried shrimp roe, and I was able to find them at a reasonable price too.
Problem is that the sale clerks were so friendly and warm that they made me bought much more than I wanted. I wanted only 1-2 ounces, and end with 9 ounces. I often use these shrimp roe for shrimp roe noodle. I suppose I can always add them to anything for favor, but what specific things do you like to use them for? Thanks.
