I drastically overestimated the amount of sugar syrup I would need for lemonade, and now have a huge jar (of sugar syrup) in my fridge.
- other than cocktails, what else can I use it for?
- if it can be used as a substitute for solid sugar, can I substitute directly (i.e. a cup of sugar = a cup of sugar syrup?) NB: I basically missed all classes related to boiling off liquids and measuring solids, evaporation, etc.
