I apologize in advance if this is a really dumb question, but I don't bake much!
I have a cupcake recipe which I would like to convert to a birthday layer cake. The recipe makes 24 cupcakes. Would I use the same recipe to make a cake? Would that be enough for 2 round cake pans? Do I need to change the recipe at all?
(FYI, the recipe is Dave Lieberman's Guiness chocolate cupcakes). Thanks!
